Whitewater Traveling Baksetball Club
The mission of the Whitewater Traveling Basketball Club is to educate Whitewater's youth in basketball skills and to promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness in partnership with the athletes, coach families, school district, and community. We are committed to elevating the skill level of each athlete in the program, and to nurturing a sense of commitment to the team and loyalty to each individual teammate within the framework of a competitive athletic environment.
The Whitewater Traveling Basketball Club offers basketball for boys and girls. Grade Level teams are organized by volunteer coaches and teams practice twice a week, with each practice being 90- 120 minutes. The season varies based on the age level of the child with games played on Saturdays. A majority of teams will also participate in tournaments including those tournaments which are hosted in Whitewater. Parents and families are expected to volunteer for our hosted tournaments, the Dog Pound Classic, and JR. Warhawk. The club offers the tournaments in place of fundraising. Registration is available on-line by visiting www.wwparks.org

WYFL Hybrid Flag Football
All registration for this program must be completed online.
WYFL 7-on-7 Flag Hybrid Football will once again be offered in the fall of 2017. Games will be played on Saturdays at Whitewater High School and in the other communities participating in the league. Practices are held 3 times per week until school starts and twice a week once school starts. Practice times and days of the week are determined by the coaches. Equipment including a helmet and shoulder pads for all participants will be provided for this style of flag football. The WYFL feels this format provides greater protection for participants and allow athletes the opportunity to get comfortable wearing equipment prior to participation in tackle football. Participants will have the opportunity to learn skills required to play on the line or in “skill” positions. The playbook and terminology will be designed to build up towards the Whitewater High School playbook.
This year there will not be a fundraiser included with the registration fee. There will be a fundraiser conducted by the WYFL at a time later to be determined.
The fee of $100 is good until June 15th. After June 15th, the fee will go up to $115.
